Here’s a video about building the Tamiya ‘Snap-Loc’ Indycar kit from the mid-90s.
It’s the Newman-Haas team Lola in 1:20 scale, built as Nigel Mansell’s 1993 Indycar World Series Championship winner.
I thought it would make a good video because despite being fairly basic on internal detail, for a kit that requires no glue, I think it builds into a very respectable replica of the real race car.
This is a bit of a retro-review, because the build took place way back in 2016-2017…
