Tyrrell’s 023 Yamaha F1 racer from 1995 didn’t do much on track, but it wasn’t a bad looking car. The video below is the first of two that shows my build of Tamiya’s 1:20 scale plastic kit.
The build does not use any aftermarket detail-up sets, but I did do a little scratch building and added some carbon fibre decal to improve what was otherwise an out-of-box build.
Part 1 covers preparing and test fitting the parts, plus much of the painting, decaling and initial stages of assembly. Part 2 (which starts off with a bit of a disaster…) shows a repair, scratch-built plumbing, wheels & tyres, then bringing all the parts together in the final assembly.
